Basketball Recap: Pinelands Regional Comes Up Short

The Pinelands Regional Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Lacey Township Lions. The Wildcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Pinelands Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Lacey Township, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinelands Regional will take on Asbury Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lacey Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Barnegat at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
