There's no place like home for Covenant Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the South Charlotte Thunder on Thursday. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-11.

Lila Jones paced Covenant Day's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jones got some help from Maggie Shannon and her 14 assists.

Covenant Day now has a winning record of 6-5. As for South Charlotte, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Covenant Day will venture away from home to square off against Charlotte Latin at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Charlotte, they will challenge Southeastern HomeSchool at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
