It's playoff time, and Centralia had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the East St. Louis Flyers 46-43. The win was familiar territory for the Orphans, who have now won five matches in a row.

When it comes to explaining why East St. Louis lost on Wednesday, don't look at Alex Johnson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Ishaia Brown, who posted seven points and ten rebounds.

Centralia's victory was their 18th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-4. As for East St. Louis, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-19.
