Churubusco relied on the efforts of Colt Singleton, who rushed for 68 yards and one score on only six carries, and Brody Lawrence, who threw for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, Lawrence posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Blane Wilson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fremont hadn't done well against Central Noble recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles took down the Cougars 40-22. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Churubusco now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fremont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
