Churubusco relied on the efforts of Colt Singleton, who rushed for 68 yards and one score on only six carries, and Brody Lawrence, who threw for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, Lawrence posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Weston Ott, Graden Hirsch, and Manny Serrano, who each picked up one sack apiece. Blane Wilson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fremont hadn't done well against Central Noble recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles took down the Cougars 40-22. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Churubusco now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fremont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
