Softball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 17-2 to the Thunderbirds when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Edsel Ford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Crestwood has already played their next contest, a 7-5 victory against Redford Union on the 22nd. As for Edsel Ford, they will take on Lincoln Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Thunderbirds are facing the Railsplitters at the right time seeing as the Railsplitters are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
