Preview: East Buchanan vs. Bishop LeBlond
Bishop LeBlond will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against East Buchanan at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Bishop LeBlond, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Bishop LeBlond had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 12-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Putnam County.
Meanwhile, East Buchanan took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against South Harrison last Friday 32-22.
East Buchanan's win lifted them to 1-0 while Bishop LeBlond's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Bishop LeBlond's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a East Buchanan defensive front that amassed 3 sacks against South Harrison, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
