Basketball Game Preview: Balboa Bengals vs. Booker Tornadoes

Having just played yesterday, the Balboa Bengals will jump right back in to play the Booker Tornadoes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Balboa saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Tampa Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, Booker beat Sumner 62-54 on Friday.

Booker's win came from a few key players Balboa will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kennedy Guy, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 20 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 43% in the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Kayla Simon was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 15 points and eight steals.

Balboa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Booker, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
