Softball Recap: Milan Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Milan had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 9-7 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Flat Rock Rams by a score of 12-9. This was a revenge game for the Big Reds: when they faced off against the Rams on Thursday, they had to take a 16-15 loss.

As for Flat Rock, they now have a losing record of 10-11. Their defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

For Flat Rock's part, they got a massive performance out of Addi Kopp, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jaclynn Motyka, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run and four RBI.

Looking ahead, Milan will host Whiteford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flat Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
