Softball Recap: East Stroudsburg North's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

East Stroudsburg North's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 21-6 margin over the Notre Dame Spartans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Timberwolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Notre Dame, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Stroudsburg North will host Pocono Mountain East at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Timberwolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Notre Dame, they will be playing at home against Wilson Area at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
