Waterford had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Ellington Knights on the board on Wednesday, marking the Lancers' second-straight 1-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Ellington, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-4.

Coming up, Waterford will challenge Masuk at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. Ellington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
