Basketball Recap: Rockmart Takes a Loss

Rockmart was the 65-62 winner over Ringgold when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockmart Yellowjackets fell 64-52 to the Ringgold Tigers on Tuesday.

Rockmart has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points over those games. As for Ringgold, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-13.

Rockmart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ringgold, they will take on Coahulla Creek at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
