Woodside and East Nicolaus squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Woodside had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Spartans. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodside's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for East Nicolaus, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Woodside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Nicolaus, they will welcome Northgate at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
