In other pitching news, Nik Christman looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Whitehall is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 2-3 otherwise.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Jules Alatzas, who went 2-for-4 with one home run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Donato Brigidi, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Whitehall's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for East Stroudsburg North, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
