After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kiel, Howards Grove was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Howards Grove, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit St. Mary Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Owen Johnson, Brody Frost, and Soren Holzwart.

Howards Grove moved to 6-7-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for St. Mary Catholic, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12-2.
