Baseball Recap: Mount Desert Island Comes Up Short

Mount Desert Island scored first but ultimately less than Brewer in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Witches by a score of 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Witches: they've now lost seven in a row.

Mount Desert Island's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Brewer, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Ararat at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Witches' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
