Basketball Game Preview: Stratton Eagles vs. Granada Bobcats

Stratton is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Granada is on a nine-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Stratton Eagles will welcome the Granada Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Stratton was able to grind out a solid win over Arickaree, taking the game 53-40.

Von Isenbart continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, on his way to 27 points in addition to five boards and five steals. His afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Ricky Schillig, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Granada didn't have too much trouble with Springfield on Tuesday as they won 64-47. The Bobcats pushed the score to 52-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Longhorns cut but never quite recovered from.

Stratton is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. Granada's victory bumped their record up to 15-5.
