The Clark Chargers will venture away from home to  face off against the Western Warriors  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clark has three straight  wins, Western has seven straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Clark barely beat Cimarron-Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chargers really took it to the Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up  a  51-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won three matchups by 22  points or more  so far this season.

Clark's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Felix Romero, who gained 221 total yards and four touchdowns, and   Aaron McCrary, who threw for 225 yards and four  touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Romero also  rushed for 158  rushing yards, which is notable because the Chargers are undefeated when he posts  at  least  80  rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Clark was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 218  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 157  rushing yards in three consecutive  contests.
 Clark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Zayne Moorman and  Brandon Truley. Truley has been hot recently, having also posted  at least one  defended passe the last three times he's  played. Another thorn in Cimarron-Memorial's side was  Christian Guevara, who made seven total tackles (5.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Western had to suffer through  a    44-7 loss at the hands of Durango.
 Western's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clark, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
 Everything came up roses for Clark against Western in their previous meeting  back in September of 2016, as the  team secured  a  38-8 victory. Will the Chargers repeat their success,  or do  the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
