Basketball Recap: Adelyn Harvey Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Perrin-Whitt

Archer City won the last time they faced Perrin-Whitt and things went their way on Friday too. The Archer City Wildcats wrapped up 2024 with a 40-21 win over the Perrin-Whitt Pirates. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Archer City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adelyn Harvey out in front who posted seven points and three steals. Harvey is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Addison Canada was another key player, putting up four points and seven rebounds.

Archer City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.
