Volleyball Recap: Williams Has No Trouble Against Winters

Williams's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Winters Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Yellowjackets this season.

Williams never let Winters on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Winters lost, don't look at Maci Dodic. Despite the final result, she had four aces and one block. Dodic is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Williams' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Winters, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

After both having extra time off, Williams and CORE Butte will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winters, they will square off against Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
