Recap: Cane Bay Cobras vs. Stall Warriors
The Cane Bay Cobras won the last time they faced the Stall Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went Cane Bay's way against Stall as Cane Bay made off with a 34-10 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-0.
Cane Bay can attribute much of their success to Deshawn Tompkins, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. Tompkins was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.
Cane Bay is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Stall, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Cane Bay will head out on the road to face off against Berkeley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Berkeley will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Stall will take on Ashley Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ashley Ridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 117 points over their last three games.
