Soccer Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee lost against Bob Jones back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lee Generals came up short against the Bob Jones Patriots, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Patriots are ranked 32nd).

Lee dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Bob Jones, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Lee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Randolph School at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Bob Jones, they will challenge Daphne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Daphne will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Bob Jones surely won't give up without a fight.
