Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Spokane vs. Lewis & Clark

Mt. Spokane hasn't had much luck against Lewis & Clark recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lewis & Clark will be up against a hot Mt. Spokane team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand Shadle Park a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Mt. Spokane considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Lewis & Clark and Central Valley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 5-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Lewis & Clark needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

They hit Central Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cyrille Wangama (2), Hank Bishopp, Ezra Jensen, and Owen Armstrong.

Mt. Spokane's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-2. As for Lewis & Clark, their win bumped their record up to 11-1-1.
