Softball Game Preview: Maryvale Flyers vs. Kenmore East Bulldogs

The Maryvale Flyers will take on the Kenmore East Bulldogs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Maryvale's offense. They came up short against Iroquois on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Flyers have struggled against the Redhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Kenmore East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to North Tonawanda.

Maryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Kenmore East, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Maryvale's way against Kenmore East when the teams last played back in May of 2017, as Maryvale made off with a 17-2 win. Do the Flyers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
