Basketball Recap: Locust Grove Takes a Loss

Locust Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Woodland Wolfpack, falling 63-24. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.

Locust Grove's record is now 0-11. As for Woodland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Locust Grove will look to defend their home court on Friday against McDonough at 6:00 p.m. Locust Grove is facing McDonough at the right time seeing as McDonough is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Woodland, they will head out on the road to take on Eagle's Landing at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagle's Landing has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
