After losing to South the last time they met, Goddard decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Goddard Lions put the hurt on the South Cougars with a sharp 6-1 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Presley Schmidt as she scored four goals for her team.
The win made it two in a row for Goddard and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Goddard will be playing in front of their home fans against North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eisenhower on April 2nd.
