Softball Recap: Loogootee Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Loogootee's offense. They came up short against the North Daviess Cougars on Tuesday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Loogootee now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Daviess, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Loogootee Lions challenge Bloomfield Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Daviess, they will venture away from home to take on Northeast Dubois at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
