Basketball Game Preview: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Logan Elm Braves

Having just played yesterday, the Grove City Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Logan Elm Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grove City Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.

Grove City Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Fisher Catholic with a 52-48 victory.

Grove City Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Josiah Harmeyer led the charge by putting up ten points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Landon Brunicardi, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Logan Elm was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 56-51 to Liberty Union. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan Elm's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Grove City Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.
