Volleyball Recap: Sylva Bay Academy Takes a Loss

The Sylva Bay Academy Saints lost 3-0 to the Jackson HomeSchool Victors on Monday.

Sylva Bay Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-18.

Jackson HomeSchool was led to victory by Adelle Mooney and Lucy Robinson. Mooney had 13 digs, while Robinson had 12 digs, nine kills, and nine aces. That's the most aces Robinson has posted over her last seven matchups.

Sylva Bay Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jackson HomeSchool, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Sylva Bay Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson HomeSchool, after both having extra time off, they and New Life Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
