It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Aquinas Institute ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Geneva Panthers a 1-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for Aquinas Institute as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Aquinas Institute's victory bumped their record up to 4-13-1. As for Geneva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Aquinas Institute nor Geneva have any future games scheduled.
