Basketball Recap: Collegedale Academy Comes Up Short

Collegedale Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Silverdale Academy Seahawks didn't end well, with the Collegedale Academy Collegedale Eagle falling 57-39. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 58-40 defeat back in January.

Silverdale Academy found their leader in sophomore Parker Holland, who posted 21 points. Briggs Hoewischer was another key player, putting up eight points.

Collegedale Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Silverdale Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-18.

As of now, neither Collegedale Academy nor Silverdale Academy have any future games scheduled.
