Volleyball Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Draughn Wildcats. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 27-29, 25-21.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Draughn, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Freedom will venture away from home to challenge West Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Draughn, they will host South Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
