Preview: Troy Flying Horses vs. Albany Falcons

Troy is 1-9 against Albany since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Troy Flying Horses will be home for the holidays to greet the Albany Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Troy can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 55-53 victory from a begrudging Flying Horsessquad. That looming 55-53 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for they yet this season.

Meanwhile, Albany scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-42 victory over Saratoga Springs. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Albany has managed all season.

The contest was Weedon's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Johnson, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Troy's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Albany, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
