Softball Recap: Colby Takes a Loss

Colby lost against Cimarron on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Jalyssa Sabatka was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Colby's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Cimarron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colby will face off against Ulysses at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cimarron, they will challenge Liberal at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejays are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
