Volleyball Recap: Central Bobcats vs. Metro Tech Knights
Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Metro Tech Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Friday.
While Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-15.
Shawn Hernandez paced Central's offense, picking up nine kills. Hernandez really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with nine.
Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Metro Tech, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
