Soccer Recap: Benet Academy Makes It Six in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barrington, Benet Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Natalie Grover as she scored three goals for her team.

Benet Academy pushed their record up to 9-3-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Joliet Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
