Baseball Recap: Hellgate Takes a Loss

Hellgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Ignatius Bulldogs.

Hellgate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Ignatius, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hellgate will welcome Butte at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Ignatius, they will host Corvallis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
