Basketball Recap: Oilton Comes Up Short

Oilton was the 70-26 winner over Drumright when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Oilton Panthers took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Drumright Tornadoes on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 points.

Oilton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Drumright, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

The future could be bright for both Oilton and Drumright: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Oilton will look to extend Yale's three-game losing streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Drumright will try to hand Depew their third-straight loss when the two meet at 8:00 p.m. on February 7th.
