Solanco waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Fleetwood Tigers 49-13. With the Golden Mules ahead 35-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Solanco's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kris Burgos-Wise, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of TDs. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 66 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Sensenig, who rushed for 45 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Solanco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 162 rushing yards in 15 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Solanco, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Eric (Cook) Koch, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Solanco's record now sits at 8-1. As for Fleetwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
