Linton-Stockton came out on top against Loogootee on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Miners blew past the Lions 7-1. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Linton-Stockton's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Loogootee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linton-Stockton will venture away from home to square off against Bloomington South at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Miners surely won't give up without a fight.
