Volleyball Recap: Durham's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Durham entered their tilt with Paradise on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Durham walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-8.

Payton Santos paced Durham's offense, picking up ten kills. Santos got some help from Lily Larrabee and her 23 assists. Josie Landon controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Durham's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Paradise, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Durham will challenge rival Pierce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Paradise is set to face off against their familiar foe Winters at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
