Basketball Game Preview: Anacoco Indians vs. Fairview Panthers

Anacoco hasn't had much luck against Fairview recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Anacoco Indians will head out on the road to take on the Fairview Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Monday, Anacoco made easy work of Hicks and carried off a 52-28 victory.

Meanwhile, Fairview waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Bulldogs 72-21. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Anacoco has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 28-4.

Anacoco came up short against Fairview in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 81-70. Can Anacoco avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
