Soccer Game Preview: Jamestown vs. Gloucester

The Jamestown Eagles will take on the Gloucester Dukes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jamestown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Hampton get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Jamestown as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meanwhile, Grafton kept up with Gloucester until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Dukes blew past the Clippers 4-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Gloucester's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Grafton are ranked 121st).

Jamestown's victory bumped their record up to 13-1-3. As for Gloucester, their win bumped their record up to an identical 13-1-3.
