Volleyball Game Preview: Winter Haven Blue Devils vs. Newsome Wolves

Winter Haven is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Strawberry Crest by a score of 3-1.

Winter Haven was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12, 25-27, 26-24.

Evvie King was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 digs and one assist. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Newsome made easy work of Palm Harbor University on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Newsome walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Newsome's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Winter Haven, their victory bumped their record up to 23-5.
