Soccer Game Preview: Bartlett vs. Dimond

Bartlett hasn't had much luck against Dimond recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Golden Bears will be playing at home against the Lynx at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Bartlett is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell 4-2 to Redington on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Dimond faced Chugiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Lynx fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Dimond have lost by just one goal.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dimond, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Bartlett suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Dimond in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Golden Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
