GRACE Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. David's Warriors. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

Thomas Bradley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landon Shiley, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

GRACE Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for St. David's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, GRACE Christian will welcome Coastal Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. David's, they will venture away from home to square off against Wake Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
