Baseball Game Preview: Fairview Aggies vs. Brooks Lions

The Fairview Aggies will head out on the road to square off against the Brooks Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Fairview came up short against Scottsboro and fell 6-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Brooks challenged Central on Saturday. The Lions blew past the Wildcats 8-2. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Brooks pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Fairview, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Fairview couldn't quite get it done against Brooks in their previous matchup back in March of 2017 as they fell 7-2. Can the Aggies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
