Baseball Recap: Rain Comes Up Short

Rain fell victim to Elberta and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost nine in a row.

Rain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Elberta, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rain will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Williamson at 4:00 p.m. on April 9. As for Elberta, they will face off against Gulf Shores at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
