Soccer Recap: West Chicago Comes Up Short

West Chicago managed to keep up with Batavia until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. West Chicago haven't had much luck with Batavia recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Chicago's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-3. As for Batavia, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Chicago will face off against Fenton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give West Chicago their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Batavia, they will challenge Wheaton North at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wheaton North will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Batavia surely won't give up without a fight.
