Lincoln Southwest won the last time they faced Lincoln Northeast and things went their way on Thursday too. The Silver Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Rockets a 3-0 shutout. Lincoln Southwest might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Lincoln Southwest is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Lincoln Northeast, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
