Timnath is a perfect 3-0 against Mountain View since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cubs will venture away from home to face off against the Mountain Lions at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Timnath lost 3-0 to University on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Cubs in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Mountain View came up short against Thompson Valley on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Mountain View ultimately came up short, they really made Thompson Valley work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 27-25, 25-19.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Timnath, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went Timnath's way against Mountain View when the teams last played back in September, as Timnath made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
